Cookie policy

Estate Track Limited (“us”, “we”, or “our”) use cookies on estatetrack.co.uk (the “Site”). By using the Site, you consent to the use of cookies. Our Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how we use cookies, how third parties we may partner with may use cookies on the Site, your choices regarding cookies and further information about cookies.

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer by websites that you visit. They are widely used in order to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the Site.

Cookies can be “persistent” or “session” cookies. We use persistent cookies and session cookies on this Site.

Persistent Cookies

A persistent cookie is stored on a user’s device in-between browser sessions which allows the preferences or actions of a user across the Site (or in some cases across different websites) to be remembered. We use persistent cookies to save your login information for future logins to the Site or Services.

Session Cookies

A session cookie allows the Site to link your actions during a browser session. Unlike persistent cookies, session cookies are deleted from your computer when you log off from the Site and then close your browser. We use session cookies to enable certain features of the Site or Services, to better understand how you interact with the Site or Services and to monitor aggregate usage by users and web traffic routing on the Site.

MapBox Mapping We use MapBox to display data on maps from within the platform. Mapbox uses cookies to improve the website experience for visitors.

Mapbox uses two types of cookies, session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies have a temporary “life” and are set to only remain in the cookie file of your browser until you leave the website. Mapbox uses these on an anonymous aggregate basis to analyze the total number of visitors to their website and app, and which pages they visited.

Persistent cookies remain in the cookie file of your browser for much longer (though how long will depend on the lifetime of the specific cookie). Mapbox uses them so that they can remember your computer when it is used to return to help customize your website experience, for example so you do not have to log in again.
