How to setup your Whatsapp Business number

Why do you need a WhatsApp Business number?

The new booking feature on your website connects directly to a WhatsApp Business account. This type of account is designed for businesses like yours, offering extra tools that regular WhatsApp doesn’t have. It’s also how we ensure your client enquiries go to the right place – directly to your agency.

On top of that, WhatsApp Business allows up to 5 devices to be connected to the same number, so your team can pick up the conversations as they happen.

How to get your FREE WhatsApp Business number:

1. Download the App: Search for “WhatsApp Business” in your phone’s app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and download it.
2. Agree & Continue: Open the app and agree to the terms and conditions.
3. Use a Business Phone Number: You’ll be asked to register a phone number. Crucially, use a dedicated phone number for your business – ideally one that isn’t currently used for a personal WhatsApp account. We recommend using Your Business Number that offers a simple and cheap solution. Click here to get your business number.
4. Verify Your Number: WhatsApp will send a verification code to that number. Enter it into the app.
5. Create Your Business Profile: Add your business name (e.g., “[Your Agency Name]”), select “Real Estate” as your business category, and upload your logo. You can also add your address, email, and website later.

That’s it! You now have a WhatsApp Business number.

How the WhatsApp Booking Feature Works (Once you have your Business Number):

1. Client Clicks: A visitor on your website clicks the “Book via WhatsApp” button for a viewing or valuation.
2. Pre-filled Message: Their WhatsApp app will open with a pre-written message containing key details (e.g., “Hi, I’m interested in booking a viewing for [Property Address]” or “I’d like to book a valuation for my property at [Address]”).
3. Client Sends: The client simply taps “Send.”
4. You Receive: This message lands directly in your WhatsApp Business chat, ready for your team to respond and confirm the appointment.

And thats not all. Our Whatsapp integration allows you to have multiple numbers so if you would like separate numbers for each branch or department, or even both, then we can do that too.
